Weather is boring only to those that do not venture outside too much, the couch potatoes. Anyone who spends any time outside finds weather and weather forecasts very fascinating.The most entertaining thing about the 'weather' - the weather.
There's NO single app worth looking at everyday, especially the ones you have to pay for. They are all more or less wrong in their predictions. If you are an outdoor person, you don't need weather apps. A simple look to the sky might be your answer. Otherwise just pack an umbrella to your daily go bag.You miss the point. The primary, secondary and tertiary function of smartphones is to entertain the user, not to provide a phone connection. The ability to make phone calls has a low priority. Why have the weather reported in a bland, factual manner when you can have it delivered by a grumpy cat or full of profanity? After all, doesn't everyone watch Grumpy Cat videos on their smartphone or is not titillated by profanity?
